1. About us & acceptance

MyCarTerms.com is owned and operated by My Car Terms LLC, a Colorado limited liability company with a mailing address at 220 S Wilcox St #598, Castle Rock, CO 80104 ("My Car Terms", "we", "us", or "our"). By submitting a vehicle request, signing up as a dealer, purchasing a lead, or otherwise using MyCarTerms.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. How buyer information is collected

When a buyer submits the request form, they voluntarily provide information such as name, email, phone number, ZIP code, vehicle preferences, budget, trade-in details, and purchase timeline.

3. Sharing buyer contact information with dealerships

By checking the consent box and submitting a request, the buyer expressly authorizes My Car Terms to share their contact information — including full name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code — with verified, licensed automotive dealerships and their authorized sales representatives.

Vehicle request details (make, model, trim, condition, budget, trade-in, radius, and urgency) may be shared with dealerships within the buyer's travel radius so they can evaluate the opportunity.
Full contact information is released to a dealership only after that dealership pays the applicable lead-access fee, or where a dealership has otherwise contracted with My Car Terms for buyer connections.
Once released, the dealership may contact the buyer directly by phone, SMS, and email, including the use of automated dialing systems where permitted by law.
My Car Terms is not a dealer, broker, finance company, or insurer. Any vehicle transaction is solely between the buyer and the dealership.

4. Communications consent

By submitting a buyer request, you consent to receive a one-time email to verify the email address you provide, and transactional communications from My Car Terms and from dealerships that obtain your information through the Service.

5. Accuracy of information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Submitting false information, another person's contact details without authorization, or fraudulent requests is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Dealer lead-purchase terms & billing

Dealerships purchase access to individual buyer leads on a one-time, per-lead basis. Pricing is tiered based on the buyer's stated purchase timeline (the more urgent the buyer's need, the higher the lead price). The current per-lead prices are published on our For Dealers page. Each lead is sold to a maximum of three (3) dealerships on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment is collected at the time of purchase via Stripe, our payment processor. There are no recurring subscription charges; each lead purchase is an independent one-time transaction. Applicable taxes, where required, are calculated and collected at checkout.

7. Payment processing

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe Payments. When you purchase a lead, Stripe processes the transaction on our behalf. My Car Terms LLC is the seller of record for lead-access fees and is responsible for fulfillment (release of buyer contact information) and customer support relating to the lead. Stripe is responsible for the secure handling of your card data in accordance with its Stripe Services Consumer Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including the MyCarTerms.com website, software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and the structure and aggregated data of buyer leads, is owned by My Car Terms LLC and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. The My Car Terms name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of My Car Terms LLC and are protected by U.S. and international trademark and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our logo or branding is strictly prohibited.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, scrape, or create derivative works from the Service or from purchased leads, except as expressly permitted in writing.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. My Car Terms does not guarantee that any dealership will respond to a request or offer acceptable terms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Car Terms LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from any interaction with a dealership. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you to My Car Terms in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons: (a) material breach of these Terms; (b) non-payment or chargeback of fees owed; (c) suspected fraud, abuse, or activity that creates security or legal risk; (d) submission of false, misleading, or unauthorized contact information; (e) repeated violations of our acceptable use rules; or (f) where required by law. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that accrued before termination, including payment obligations and confidentiality obligations regarding leads already purchased.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Colorado.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
